1. About Speedi
Speedi ("the Platform") is operated by Vib3 Labs Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. The Platform connects customers seeking trade services with independent tradespeople who have set themselves as available. Speedi is not an employer, agency, or contractor — we provide a connection service only.
By using the Platform you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Accounts & Registration
You must provide accurate information when registering, including your real name, valid email address, and phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may register as either a Customer or a Tradesperson. Tradespeople must hold the relevant qualifications, insurance, and certifications required for the trades they list on their profile. Speedi does not verify qualifications unless the tradesperson has achieved "Speedi Approved" status.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information, engages in abusive behaviour, or violates these Terms.
3. How the Platform Works
For Customers: You can browse available tradespeople on the live map, send message requests describing your job, or broadcast a quote request to multiple tradespeople in your area. Your contact details (phone number and email) are only shared with a tradesperson after they accept your request and spend a credit.
For Tradespeople: You set your availability status (Available, Soon, or Busy) and your active trades. You receive job requests from customers and choose whether to accept or decline each one. Accepting a request costs one credit and reveals the customer's contact details so you can arrange the work directly.
Speedi does not take any commission on work arranged through the Platform. All pricing, scheduling, and quality of work is agreed directly between the customer and tradesperson.
4. Credits & Payments
Credits are the currency used by tradespeople to accept customer connection requests. Credits are purchased in packs:
- 10 credits — £10
- 25 credits — £45
- 50 credits — £80
Each credit allows you to accept one customer request, revealing their contact details and opening a connection. Declining a request is always free and does not cost a credit.
Refund Policy: Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law. If you believe a credit was spent incorrectly (e.g. due to a technical error), contact us at hello@speedi.co.uk and we will investigate on a case-by-case basis.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Speedi does not store your card details.
5. Contact Detail Sharing & Privacy
Customer contact details (phone number and email address) are hidden from tradespeople until the tradesperson accepts the request and spends a credit. This is the core value exchange of the Platform.
Message content sent by customers is automatically redacted to remove phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, and other contact information before being shown to tradespeople in the PENDING state. Full message content is revealed upon acceptance.
Both parties agree that contact details shared through Speedi are for the purpose of arranging and completing the requested work only. You must not use contact details obtained through Speedi for unsolicited marketing, spam, or any purpose unrelated to the job.
6. Reviews
Both customers and tradespeople may leave reviews after a connection is made. Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on genuine experience. We do not edit or censor reviews, but we reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or violate these Terms.
Each job connection generates a unique review link. One review is permitted per connection to prevent abuse. Public reviews submitted via QR code or review link are rate-limited to prevent spam.
Customer ratings are visible only to tradespeople and are not shown to the customer themselves.
7. Quote Broadcasts
Customers can broadcast a quote request to tradespeople who offer relevant trades in their area. Quote broadcasts are matched to tradespeople based on the trade category system — only tradespeople with trades in the same category as the requested job will receive the broadcast.
A maximum of 3 tradespeople can accept each quote broadcast. Accepting a quote broadcast costs one credit. Once accepted, the customer's contact details are revealed.
8. Tradesperson Responsibilities
Tradespeople are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Speedi. You are solely responsible for:
- Holding valid qualifications, certifications, and insurance for all trades you list
- Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- The quality, safety, and timeliness of any work you undertake
- Your own tax obligations including VAT registration if applicable
- Maintaining accurate availability information on the Platform
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate descriptions of the work required, being available at agreed times, and paying the tradesperson directly for work completed. Speedi is not involved in the financial transaction between customer and tradesperson.
10. Limitation of Liability
Speedi provides a connection platform only. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any work arranged through the Platform. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from work carried out by tradespeople found through Speedi.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speedi's total liability in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Speedi in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Data we collect includes: name, email, phone number, location (when you enable it), trade information, messages, reviews, and payment information (processed by Stripe).
We use your data to operate the Platform, match customers with tradespeople, process payments, send notifications, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to bypass the credit system or contact detail gating
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Submit fake reviews or manipulate ratings
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the Platform
- Circumvent any security measures on the Platform
13. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notification on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Referral Scheme
The referral scheme is available to registered tradesperson accounts only.
Each tradesperson is assigned a unique referral code visible on their Pro dashboard.
The referral code must be entered by a new user at the point of signup. Codes cannot be applied retroactively after an account has been created.
When a referred tradesperson purchases credits, the referring tradesperson will earn 10% of the credit value of each purchase.
Referral credits accumulate as a running balance and are transferred to the referrer's account in whole credit increments only. Fractional credits carry over until the next qualifying purchase.
Referral earnings are active for 6 months from the date the referred tradesperson creates their account. After this period no further referral credits will be awarded.
The referral scheme is a limited time offer and Speedi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the scheme at any time with reasonable notice.
Referral credits hold the same value as purchased credits and can be used to accept messages and quotes on the platform.
Referral credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
Any attempt to abuse the referral scheme, including creating fake accounts or self-referral, will result in account suspension and forfeiture of all referral credits.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
